She holds an MA in Psychology from Delhi University, a PG Diploma in Guidance and Counseling from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from Brunel University, London. She further enriched her expertise with a PhD in Psychology from Monad University, UP. She is a chartered psychologist in the British Psychological Society (BPS) in the UK.
